Webstore: its about your data

Your Webstore site is only as good as the information you put in it. Thankfully with Webstore you can import data in a number of ways. Product data can be uploaded from external text files such as csv or xml, or it can be acquired via FTP or HTTP.

You can of course input product data directly from the control panel or make small amendments via the product 'update' facility which is a little like the 'find and replace' feature you would find in a spreadsheet application. Updates to product data can also be achieved in the same way.

Real time product data (prices, availability)

Not just content will pulling data from a text file, Webstore has the ability to make real time price enquiries to your back office or remote server (web site). This data is then used to populate your current product file. Keeping y our pricing up to date at all times.

Automatic insertion of missing data (default values)

One of the great features of Webstore is the fact that you can import data in a number of formats. The product data does not have to be in a 'complete' state. missing 'columns' can be automatically added to any update so in effect you could just upload product codes, descriptions and prices.

Multiple product files

Webstore also allows you to store any number of product files that you can then switch over to and in an instant your web site could be displaying special promotional catalogue items.
